Mobile Player Stats Tracking ApplicationFCSM_Stats_App

Full Circle Sports Management (FCSM) is a Major League Baseball player agency.  FCSM first approached Mark of Array Digital to develop a custom mobile application to allow their agents to track their client's daily game statistics in the minor leagues.  Because agents utilize both Apple and Android devices a mobile website was recommended over native iOS and Android applications.  jQuery Mobile was used for the user interface along with other technologies like PHP, mySQL, JavaScript, Linux cron jobs, XML and XSLT.  A user guide was developed to teach the FCSM staff how to update the player list.

Custom Website with Protected Content and Social Media Integration

After the success of the player stats tracking application, FCSM asked Array Digital to re-design their website and add some custom developed features.  This was one of the last fully custom websites developed before Array put more of an emphasis on rapid development using WordPress.

  • The UI was designed from scratch in Photoshop then coded in PHP and jQuery
  • The slideshow was custom coded using jQuery Carousel and a unique layering technique to show previous and next slides
  • A password protected "Intro" section of the website allows potential clients to view marketing materials online
  • Social media API integrations included the Facebook "Like" button and Twitter "Follow" button
  • A Twitter feed widget was installed and later re-coded when Twitter retired the original API
